Q&A
Number Portability is something that Telecom Operators need to implement by law. This case is about how automating this process can deliver a return on investment for the Telecom Operator, and how professional open source can support this. The presentation will make use of an existing case that JCS/Dolmen implemented at there customer and how JBoss products like AS and jBPM were used to realize the Number Portability issue.
Like a true workaholic Xavier Keters combines two tasks being a Java Competence Center Manager at Dolmen and an Operations Manager at JCS. During his career he evolved form being an analyst-programmer to co-managing one of Dolmen's biggest and most outspoken competence centers.
JCS quickly saw the potential of the Java platform and started to build a group of Java specialist with a keen eye for pragmatism and a sense of technology innovation.
